Different For Me

Wow! This design is a different one for me. I started out with a new stamp I bought at Michaels, which you can't see. I used it as the background on the blush cardstock. Then I wanted to use my scraps again. I just can't get ahead of my scrap pile. In addition, I wanted to try out my golden sand embossing powder. I bought this at Archivers when I scrapped on a Friday night. They showed it with a beach layout and used it on the letters. It looked really cool, which made me want some. I like the color and the effect. I am so glad I set my embossing gun and supplies out in my scrap room. I use them now that I see them all the time.

I distressed the paper with the new distressing ink pad that CTMH carries in their new fall idea book. I embossed both the Alfresco image and Thinking of You sentiment and used pop dots behind both. The border on the top and bottom of the green pattern paper is a ribbon stamp from the Alfresco set. I don't use this set that often, but really like it. I finished the embossed Alfresco image with a copper brad I bought from QVC a long time ago. The chocolate and colonial white ribbon is from the designer ribbon rounds from CTMH too.

Can you say busy? I think this card ended up a bit busy. Oh well, back to the scrap room.

I keep forgetting to write about the comments all of you leave me. I love them and thanks for taking the time to comment. If you ask me a question, I will answer it in the same comment section unless you ask me to email you. I saw on a blog once...Leave a comment, bloggers love them! This is so true!
