Cupcake Birthday

Here is another card I cased from Kristina at kwerenerdesign.

I have never made a round card before and wanted to try it. Just get out your coluzzle to cut the circle leaving an edge. All the paper is from unknown sources from my sister's stash. The stamp sets used are Thoughtful Scripts (CTMTH) and a hostess set, Cause for Celebration(SU).

Notice all the shadows on the card. This show all the places where pop dots are used. I love how she popped up the cupcake icing. Very cool! See her make it card Monday below where she shows how to make this card.

You might have noticed changes I have made to my sidebar and the bottom of my blog. I put a weather girl, my video tutorials, and a calendar on my sidebar. At the bottom of my blog, I put a slideshow of some of my cards. Presently, I am working on assigning categories to my cards, so it will list them on the sidebar by stamp set. That way if you want to see examples of a particular stamp set you can browse the categories and click on one that you want to see. I am hoping this works and will take a while to go back through all of my past posts to label them. I think it is a good resource and is worth the time. I always like to see what people create with stamp sets I own.

Happy Stamping!
