Tennis Pro

First, I have to tell you that I got to go to the movies today to see TWILIGHT!  It was awesome!
I agree with you Gloria, it does follow the book pretty well.  I hope they make the rest of the books into movies.  I will go to each one.  I was glad I got there early, because the movie was packed.  I could tell who read the book due to the reaction to little things.  I am glad I read the book first.  I am half way done with the second one and I want Edward back too!  I like Jacob, but he is no Edward.  LOL!

Here is another digi layout I created while taking my first class at JessicaSprague.com.  If you take the class, you get two free templates that you can upload your pictures to.  It is so easy.  The first thing I did with this one was search for some free paper downloads to match the colors in my pictures.  I couldn't believe it, when I ran across this pack.  I haven't purchased any papers yet.  I am still waiting to take my second class before I start buying digi kits too.

Tate took tennis lessons last summer.  He was not thrilled, because he loves to stay home and just hang out.  I think he gets nervous when trying something new and he definitely does not like crowds.  Since he plays with his dad already, he picked up on things quickly.  I hope he sticks with this, because his dad loves to play tennis.  It would be fun for them, when he gets older.

I like how I could type my journaling in a semi-circle.  I just had to click on the journal box and it put my words where they needed to go.

Since I went to the movies instead of creating, I thought I would share this layout with you.  I have an idea for a card for the sketch challenge I posted yesterday and a video for this coming week.  I will make sure to start creating tomorrow.

Don't forget to comment on this post for some blog candy!  I think I will draw on winner on Thursday, January 15th, because that is my dad's birthday!

Happy Stamping!

I have been thinking about digital scrapbooking for a while now. Thanks to you, I checked out the Jessica Sprague site. Haven't signed up for any classes yet. But, it looks really intriguing.

Thanks for the tip,

Julie

This is such a cool layout. If I ever get to scrapping again I will use this idea for one of Danielle's tennis layouts.

Twilight update...glad you liked the movie. I knew you would. They have announced that they are committed to the last 3 books, so even with the economy the way it is, they made enough to do the rest. YIPPEE!! And don't worry..Edward isn't going anywhere. It just gets BETTER!!

Great layout! I have yet to try digital scrapbooking. Tate sounds like my Andrew. Very nervous to try new things and just a home body! He found his niche with baseball, so he does that every summer, but that's it..lol!

Thanks for sharing your LO and Happy Birthday to your dad!

Wow, Kim! Fabulous page. Love the colors! Good for Tate for doing something outside his comfort zone. I hope he comes to enjoy it and gets more special time with Dad! Your digi scrapping is coming along just great! Go YOU!
