Happy Birthday to Tate!

Sunday, February 22nd was Tate's birthday.  He is eight years old now and graduated out of a booster seat for the car.  He is so excited.  To celebrate his birthday I am giving out blog candy this week.  The lucky winner will receive a brand new "D" sized stamp set from CTMH ($22.95 value) called Treasure Life.  In addition, I will throw in some extra goodies that will be a surprise.

Over the next two weeks, I am going to be very busy with PTA "stuff" and preparing for a scrapbook garage sale I am going to be at this weekend.  I am going to be creating, but not much.  In addition, I have to work on taxes....Bummer!

To be eligible for the blog candy drawing just leave an answer to the following question in the comment section.  Why do you visit my site...to see cards, digital scrapbooking, etc.?  I will draw a winner from by random number generator on Friday, February 27th.

Here is my big boy!  I can't believe he is eight already!  He had a Batman cake.  You know, it is ALL about the superheros at this age.  Notice his Spiderman t-shirt.

Here is Tanner enjoying the BLACK, yes black frosting!  He loved it!  We had to take his shirt off, because he was getting it everywhere.

Edited to add:  Hey, I forgot to tell you that my tutorial on how to make the pop top can gift containers is on Paper Craft Planet.  When you click on this link, it will take you to the main page.  Scroll down to see volume 7 of the newsletter.  Click on the pdf file and it will take you to the newsletter and my tutorial.  Yay!

Have a great week and thanks for stopping by!

Happy Stamping!

Cute boys! Fun times! Look at those teeth on Tanner all gray from the frosting...ick! LOL! I know they had a great time. Sounds like you're going to have your hands full for the next few weeks...that will give me time to put together those codes for you...I didn't forget.

p/s Please exclude me from your blog candy draw. I was just poppin' in to say 'hi'.

I love to visit your site. In the northern corner of Vermont it is hard to find inspiration in the craft world. I think Vermont has a total of five CTMH consultants and they are all from the southern end of the state. Your cards inspire me and give me confidence when it comes to getting crafty myself. I believe friendships can be made and I enjoy sharing lifes milestones! Congrats and wishes to your big boy!

I love to look at artwork for inspiration. Digital scrapbooking is something I keep trying to get to, but just can't seem to find the time.

Your cards are inspiring---that's why I follow your lovely blog. The picture of your sweet son reminds me of my own son's passion for superheroes. He's in his mid-twenties now and works for a computer gaming company---still involved with superheroes!!

I love your work & it inspires me! What more can I say? I'm new to this blog stuff but I am having a ton of fun. I've been doing cards lately (well Sunday then the last time was in Sept. I think. LOL) I have all these GRAND plans in my head but can't seem to execute. I love having a place I can go to be able to help put the thoughts together. Thank you!!!

Tupperly,

Hey, Kim! You don't have to include me in the drawing, I just had to pop in and say Happy Birthday to Tate! He looks way more like a little man than a little boy. How DOES that happen, anyway? And little Tanner's teeth with that frosting...oh my!

I come by because I love ya and ALL that you share! Hugs!

A Happy Birthday to Tate! I stop by your site for the different Ideas. So there are some that are just up my alley and some are not! Each to their own taste as well as I am sure there are things I do that are not your taste! Love the CTMH products and things so it is nice to see things I also like to use in different ideas.

Happy Birthday to Tate! I love that set! I am actually a CTMH consultant, as well, although, I probably won't be after next month. I visit to see what you do specifically with CTMH products because I have so many and for some reason have a hard time using them (other than the stamps). I LOVE scrapbook supplies and I have tons, but I find your work to help encourage me to use my CTMH stuff more!

I too love the tutorials, but it's the cards that I get my inspiration. Keep up the good work!!

Happy Birthday Tate! And it's not just that age that like comic book heroes, my 22 year old son had a Spiderman cake for his birthday last year. :) I come here to look at your cards & so enjoy your videos. I was searching for videos on how to chalk last year & found your site. You are so talented & helpful. Thanks for sharing your talent & knowledge.

I think I just submitted a comment that is not related to this post by mistake...LOL...sometimes the computer doesn't really listen to me. Especialy those automatic single signons...sorry!
What I was trying to enter was that I have been following your blog because I was looking for great ideas for CTMH stamps. You do a fabulous job with them! I am intrigued with digi scrapbookking but I don't even know where to start. Maybe one day I will get the opportunity to get some training in it.
Great B-day pictures, BTW

Here in Switzerland stamping is not (yet) a common hobby, and so I like to see "what's new" in overseas blogs. I simply love your style and your creations! :)
