January Scrapbook Club

The scrapbook club is perfect this year for my New Year Resolution on creating more scrapbook layouts.  I made this layout for the club members to create this Saturday at our club meeting.  Normally, I don't have pictures for my layout to show them.  When I was making this layout, I remembered I had pictures of Tanner taking naps with us.  The tag reads, "Tanner never passes of the opportunity to nap with someone.".  He is so lovely he will always take a nap, especially if he gets to hold your neck like Grandma Burmeister let him do during their nap (page 2).

I started off creating with my Reflections Scrapbook Program by CTMH.  I used the layout ideas on pages 22 and 32.  I saw the MOMENTS title on page 22 and decided to use that in my title.  I was going to create the title Cherish the Moments; however, I wanted my MOMENTS page to be the first page.  I thought of  MOMENTS to REMEMBER and went with that.  Once I was building my pages, I printed my Tanner pictures, matted and embellished around them.

Materials used: All materials CTMH unless noted
Stamps: Enjoy Every Moment (SU), Rustic Alphabet
Paper: dutch blue cs, autumn terracotta cs, colonial white cs, and olive cs  Rustic Trail pattern paper (retired)
Ink: dutch blue
Accessories: dutch blue buttons, olive button, olive waxy flax, olive bigger brads, autumn terracotta brads, garden green grosgrain ribbon, Rustic Trail My Stickease (retired), autumn terracotta sassy strands (retired), 3/4" square and 1" square punches (EK Success)

Happy Scrappin'!

Oh my, what precious moments those are...sleeping angels - everyone are angels when they sleep...it's God's way of showing us a peek at the awesomeness He creates and His utter perfection. How lucky that you captured these timeless moments. Great layouts - all of them.

Oh my goodness! Fantastic photos! How lucky you are to have one who doesn't resist naps. And to capture that part of his personality is priceless!

I agree with the other comments as well.

Wonderful work, Kim!
