Thank You Mrs. Masters

First, I want to point out the image in the upper right sidebar.  If you would like to receive my Stampin' Up! monthly newsletter via email, just click on that image and it will take you to a page to fill out the information.  Then I will add you to the monthly mailing list.  Now, for the card I made today.

Tate's teacher, Mrs. Masters gave each of the students a little something for Easter last Friday, so I wanted to make her a thank you card that had a child and school feel, so I thought of my new set Very Thankful.

I love, love, love the stamp set, Very Thankful from Stampin' Up!  for a couple of reasons: 1. It has four cute thank you images, and 2. $2.00 of each set goes to the Ronald McDonald House.  My friend, Heather and her son Owen are still up at the Ronald McDonald House in Minneapolis, and she cannot say enough positive things about their experience there.  Now, that I have someone close to me that has needed to use the resources of RMH I understand their importance.  This is a set that keeps giving.

I used my aqua painter (waterbrush) again with my ink pads.  I wanted this image to scream children.  That is the nice thing about using your waterbrush...it doesn't have to be perfect.

Adorable card Kim. I love this set. I like the background you created for your 'kid' too. Nice job with the Aqua Painter.

Kim please replace the blades in your paper trimmer.

I do replace the blades in my paper trimmer. I distressed the paper on this card on purpose with a paper distresser. I guess I should have written that in the description.

Have a great day!
