Here is the No Waste Criss Cross Card I posted last week. These directions are from Lynn Birus, who posted the directions on SplitCoastStampers. These are so easy to make and you don't waste any paper to make the criss cross section. YAY!
I actually made one of thes last night. Different colors and B&T. It was great fun. Will have to make more in the future. Thanks for the tutorial. It made it so easy.
Wanted to let you know I received my Blog Candy package on Friday. I was out the door to go to a scrapbooking weekend. Of course I ripped open the package and took the entire thing with me to show everyone all the cool stuff I got. Thanks again. I loved it.
I'm a bit behind on my blog reading after starting a new class, but I just finished watching your video and it looks GREAT!
What I would LOVE to see in a quick video is how you do that ribbon knot tying with a longer piece of ribbon. I think it looks cool and the knot looks good when you are done. (I know you said you are ribbon challenged, but I think it was because your ribbon was a bit short). I'm serious, would love a step by step. :o)
Really good tutorial. I had tried to use the Splitcoast Stampers tutorial and found your video far superior. This is not the first time I have been able to follow your video after failing to be successful with someone elses tutorial.
Thanks, Gail! Those are very nice comments. I am a visual person too who likes someone to show me how to do something. I am glad I could help! Happy Stamping!
Wow! Very nicely done. I like how you changed the card to cranberry. Are you able to use the rectangles that you didn't use in the video?
ReplyDeleteGood question, Connie! Yes, the other pattern paper rectangles can be used on another criss cross card. That is what is so cool about it too!
