Paper Garden Butterfly Happy Birthday

I have finally taken the time to work on the cards I am offering for my next card class. I don't know when the card class will be held yet. I think I am going to have to wait until June with all the plans we have for graduations and a small trip to Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

I cardlifted this idea from Brenda Thacker, a fellow consultant and a good friend of mine. We try to scrap together once a month and I look forward to that day. Here is her card:

Here is mine. I added the butterfly, since I have been using them on the other cards in this series. I stamped the butterfly in Petal and a coloring pencil, Petal Pink to color. The ribbon is baby pink organdy and the ink color is Sweet Leaf. I used Birthday Script and Butterflies stamp sets. AND Paper Garden Level 2 paper pack. This pack is growing on me. Very pretty paper! Oh, the best part is prisma glitter on the butterfly. Sparkly!

Happy Stamping!

  1. Oooooh, very pretty! I like how you added the butterfly. Is the Happy Birthday stamp set retired? Looks like I will be ordering these cards whenever you will be having your workshop.

  2. Yes, this stamp set is retired. There are other ones that will work too. I haven't used this one is a while, so I have been stuck on it lately.

  3. Nice, nice, NICE! But then, I'm a sucker for a butterfly...especially one with a touch of glitter magic.

Sioux Falls??? That's where my hubby is from and we've been there numerous times! :o)
