Tutorial Time - Shaker Card

Okay, don't laugh too much during this one. I made numerous mistakes and just kept taping and to show you how to fix them. I had fun making this one, because I laughed at myself. ENJOY!

Meaurements:

Card base 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 score at 4 1/4
Good Times pattern paper 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
Shaker Box 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 outside square, 2 1/2 x 2 1/4 inside square
Colonial White cs 3 1/2 x 3 1/2
Transparency 3 x 3

    I think you did a super job on this tutorial! I love that you showed how human you are. I suspect a lot of viewers will feel a sense of relief that as fabulous as you are, you're just like the rest of us. I can't tell you how many times I've had to "adjust" while doing a particular technique. I'm glad to know I'm not alone! :o)

    You know what!?!?! I think its so awesome that you take the time to find the perfect song to coincide with your tutorial!!!

    And I absolutely LOVE this card! I would CASE it, but I don't have the dino set, my 4yr old DD is definitely all girl, very girly girl so I have very few boyish sets.

    Wonderful tutorial. Your little "oops" along the way lets us all know that "Good enough" is "good enough."

    I love you. Ok, it's out there, I said it. I have been wanting to learn the shaker technique for some time now and YOU ROCK! for putting together a tutorial for this that I could actually follow! I think you did a great job on the video ~blunders? what blunders?~ I can't wait to try one for myself. I can tell you now, there's going to be a whole lot of shakin' going on around here once I master this technique. Thanks for sharing. BTW...great background music!

    This was fantastic, just what I needed. I loved how you 'showed' us what 'not to do'. Thanks for the time you spent putting this together.
