I have had this product in my possession for a long time and just never used it. I went to a class at convention and they showed a lot of projects where they used create a shade and now I am hooked. This paint is awesome!
Here are the measurements for the card I show in my video:
Buttercup card base - 8 x 7 (score at 3 1/2)
Let's Get Together paper - 4 1/4 x 2 1/2, 1 1/2 x 2 1/2
Cranberry cardstock - 1 x 3 1/2
Say It In Style stamp set
Cranberry ink, waxy flax and sassy strands
Buttercup brads and button
This card design is from the new Originals Card Confidence Program. The design is called Bound Together found on page 33.
ENJOY!
Happy Stamping!
Wow! Very impressive. My CTMH list just keeps getting longer. Love all the examples you showed.
ReplyDeleteGreat tutorial, Kim! I've been intimidated by Create-A-Shade as well...but I think I need to get some now!! Thanks for keeping up such a great blog and sharing your expertise! --Heather CTMH Sister
ReplyDeleteVery interesting tutorial...
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of this before..
it looks great! I will add this to my list :) TFS
Love it! The way you showed the colors with/without the create-a-shade was neat to see. I definitely need to try this now!
ReplyDeleteAnother great video and cute card! I love the pearl paint, but silly me, I've always mixed it with re-inkers, I never thought to sponge on the color first and then just paint over it ;-) TFS!
ReplyDeletePretty, pretty! I love versatility in products! Great tutorial and I LOVE the music you were playing in the background...I'm a closet Prince fan! Shhh...don't tell anyone! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! I learned something new.
ReplyDeleteCreate-a-shade looks like it really softens colors and adds the sheen to it too...now I need to add this to my wish list. Thanks for sharing Kim!
ReplyDeleteGreat tutorial, I am a fairly ew consultant and didn't know what this product could do. It will be on my next order to demonstrate to my group. Thank yOu.
