The background paper with the white snowflakes I made with a piece of white daisy cardstock. This is what I did:
- Stamped my snowflakes with Versamark
- Embossed them with white embossing powder
- Brayered Blue Breeze Spectrum ink over entire cardstock
- Wiped off embossed snowflakes with tissue
- Sponged edge of cardstock with outdoor denim ink
- Ran cardstock through my Big Shot with the embossing folder.
I was inspired to create a winter theme card by neighbor's snowman and the trees this morning were gorgeous. When I got home from the gym (at 6 a.m.), I ran outside with my camera and snapped some pictures of the beautiful winter wonderland. Check these out!
Our neighbor's tree
The frost looks like needles.
Other neighbor's snowman. Check out the frost on his nose and arms.

ReplyDeleteJust LOVE those pictures, Kim! And your Christmas card is gorgeous! Love the shades of blue! It gives me a quiet feeling looking at it... like just the snowman and the snow falling in the middle of the night!
