Coloring in PSE

I love to learn new things, especially on the computer.  I finally took the time to learn how to color my digital images in Photoshop Elements.  Of course, Susanna Boyd (of Card of the Week and Paper Craft Planet) was a big help  with this video.  She colors her image in Photoshop CS4.  The only part I saw that is different is where the gradient tool is in PSE.  My gradient tool is underneath the paint bucket in the tool bar.  I have PSE 8, but I think it would be the same other PSE versions.

I love my copics to color (you know that), but I felt like coloring this image Flowered Heart by DZ Doodles in Photoshop, because I wanted to add my sentiment in Photoshop after I colored the image.

Inside of my card

After I colored my image in PSE, I printed two images.  I cut out the flowers of the second image with my xacto knife to layer them on the first image.  Love it!

Paper: Bella pattern paper, hollyhock cs, holiday red cs, white daisy cs, vanilla cream cs

Ink: holiday red, barn red, Canon i9900 printer

Accessories: buttercup brads, Spare Parts pink brads (Paper Studio), concave punch (EK Success), Dot Sparkles (Stampendous), lattice arch punch (Martha Stewart), pop dots (SU)
