Inspiration from Vicki

When I went to Michelle Zindorf's brayer class I met a wonderful group of people.  One of them is Vicki at Heartwarmers from Vicki.  When I visited her blog to see what she is creating, I saw this "Easy As It Gets" card she made that inspired me to make one with my SU! supplies.  I decided to work with purple, since I had a bunch of card stock cut for cards that was sitting on my desk.

I created this while stampers were creating their Christmas cards at my Christmas card workshop.  This week I will be showing you the four cards I made with the same designer series paper, Cottage Wall.  This DSP is retired; however, you could recreate the cards I made with any of the wonderful designer series packs.  Greenhouse Gala would be really pretty.

Materials used are stampin’ up! Unless noted
Stamps: Sincere salutations
Paper: cottage wall, purple cardstock (other), rich razzleberry
Ink: concord crush
Accessories: beautiful wings embosslits, pearls, bone folder to dry emboss
Punches: none
Techniques: dry embossing

  2. Very pretty card, Kim! The colors are lovely, but the added detail with the embossing sure makes it pop. Those little butterflies are even embossed. Neat!

I'm sure your workshop was quite successful, too! *Ü*
