I decided to make some thank you cards, because we encourage our boys to write thank yous to everyone who give them Christmas presents. I made a card very similar to this one at Kim's last year. I love using a 6 x 6 piece of paper for the card base. Score it at 3 inches and you have a 3 x 6 card that fits right into the small office envelopes. I got four card bases out of one 12 x 12 sheet of cardstock. I used irridescent ice on the snowflake and remembered how much I love that product.
I used Night of Navy craft ink and sprinkled irridescent ice over it. Then I set it with my heat gun. Love it! Don't ya love how the stamp fits perfectly in this punch? You know, I do!
You can see it sparkle just a little on the close-up. Oh, how pretty it makes this snowflake glitter.
Materials used are stampin’ up! Unless noted

This is my last post for a little while. I have a lot of things to get ready for the holidays, so I am taking a little vacation from my blog. I hope to see you back here soon.
Such a lovely set!
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely thank you cards, Kim. How on top of things you are to be working on those now. *Ü*
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your family!
I always encouraged my kids to do the same thing. Unfortunately it didn't STICK...I never get thank you cards from them...nor do they send them to anyone else. Shame on them. It sure wasn't for lack of my trying.
ReplyDeleteThese are just beautiful Kim. Good for you for instilling this social grace in them. I hope it works out better for you than it did for me! HA!
