Tutorial Time - Suspension Card

This card was fun to make; however, you will see in the video I had to do a second take. I wasn't paying close attention and put the circle images upside down....LOL! Don't make the same mistake. I decided to put the measurements in this post instead of at the end of the video. Oh..don't fret....the measurements are throughout the video too.

Measurements:

Card - once scored 4 1/4 x 11, score at 5 1/2
Key Lime cs - 3 x 4, 2 1/8 x 3
Sunkiss Yellow cs - 2 3/4 x 3 3/4
Heavenly Blue cs - 2 x 2 7/8
White Daisy cs - 1 3/4 x 2 5/8, 1 1/4" circles (2)

Edited to add: I forgot to mention on my video that I used vanilla cream CTMH marker for the baby's skin.

Happy Stamping!

Sillhouette Card Class

I am ready for the card class I am offering in March. I can't believe it, but I felt like creating some cards and thought I might as well make them for the next class. I used the new Silhouette paper from the current 2008 CTMH Idea Book. This is a very popular paper pack and is one of my favorites too! It is so versatile for making cards and layouts!

I used various stamp sets and will list them under the card.

Thoughtful Scripts stamp set (retired)

Vintage Snowflake and Comforting Thoughts (retired) stamp sets

Simple Blossoms and Heartfelt Sayings (retired) stamp sets

Vintage Snowflake and From Me To You (2007 special offer) stamp sets

Coluzzle Purse

I have been writing a lot about the Coluzzle file folder template and the other day I ran across a few purses I made with the Coluzzle purse template that CTMH carries. It seems like a gift card just isn't the right gift sometimes, but I think that is because of the packaging. When a gift card is given in this cute little purse...WOW...it becomes a great gift! For this card I used all CTMH products:
  • Simple Stitches stamp set
  • Thoughtful Scripts stamp set
  • 2006 November stamp of the month - No Peeking
  • Precious Paisleys paper pack - level 2
  • Spring craft buttons
  • Spring accent beads
  • Sunflower waxy flax
  • Pink Carnation cardstock and ink
  • Bubblegum ink
  • Spring Iris ink

Here is another pink purse I made using the 2007 stamp of the month - All My Love, spring accent beads, Chocolate waxy flax, Pink Carnation cardstock, Bubblegum ink, Chocolate ink and retired Chocolate pattern paper.

Just one more for those Christmas gift cards we give during the Holiday season. I used the retired stamp set Winter, the 2006 Stamp of the month - No Peeking, Clover Meadow ink, Holiday Red ink and organdy ribbon. I finished it off with a red button (non-CTMH).

Happy Monday!
