Look at this cute little bird house my friend, Kim made me. Love it!

More Pop Can Flowers
I have been having fun making more pop can flowers. My neighbors have been giving me their cans, so I get a better variety. This time I figured out how to use any size brad, so I could use some of my pretty brads I have in my stash.
Coke
Cherry 7-Up
Diet Squirt
Fanta
My sister said she wanted to see how big they are, so I am showing you the size of the Old Milwaukee flower in my hand. The biggest flower measures 3 1/4" across.
Snowflake Candle
I am have been busy lately as you know, because I haven't been blogging. I do have the three videos taped for my brayer class I have been working on for Paper Craft Planet. Whew! I have sent them to Susanna to preview to give me her input. Then I will be working on setting up a group on Paper Craft Planet and getting the materials ready to present the class.
I wanted to show you a new technique I was so happy to learn from Kim. I always wanted to add a stamp to a candle and have seen it done on YouTube. We made this cute little snowflake candle last time I was stamping with her. It is so much easier than I thought it would be. I am going to need to try this again.
Have a good one!

I do have a proud mother moment to share with you. I have been talking to our boys about respecting girls and my son, Tate made me so proud last week. They had a play in their classroom last Friday, and there weren't enough chairs for everyone to sit. He had a chair, but noticed a girl in his class was standing. He offered his chair to her, so she would have a place to sit. That's my boy!
I have been inspired to stamp again, since I created my videos last week. I need to create some anniversary cards. I have a few I need to send out soon. In addition, Seth Grandma is going to be 92 this week and we are going to her party. I want to make her some cards for her birthday present.
Have a good one!

Valentine Candy Wrapper
This is another project we are going to make at our January club meeting. I {heart} this Bigz L Die Candy Wrapper that is in the holiday mini. This die cuts and scores the paper for the perfect wrapper for any holiday or birthday. I made one without a texture impressions folder and one with the square lattice texture. I used two different ways to tie the ends. Cute, huh?

Snowman Box
This is another top note project I have been wanting to make for awhile. The snowman design is from Tammy Beaver. I love all the top note characters she has made and hope to make all of them by the end of next year.
The box is a die for the Big Shot called Fancy Favor. Love it!
Staying with the snowman theme, I took this picture while we were at my parents. I love this little snowman my parents have on their deck. I was playing with textures in Photoshop Elements to change the look.

Textures
I used textures from Rita at her CoffeeShop Blog and a texture from Jerry Jones at ShowHouseCreations Blog. I like how they brightened the snowman's face. I lowered the opacity on the textures, so they don't show a lot.
Multi-fold Ornament
This is another great ornament I made at Kim's. It is made out of a 6 x 6 piece of designer series paper. It has so many folds to it, I hope I can make another one some time. She might have to teach me again....LOL! The designer series paper I used is called Deck the Halls in the holiday mini catalog. Only a few weeks left to order it.

Snowflake Ornament
I went to Kim's last night and made the cutest projects. This is a snowflake ornament we made with thick window sheets and the oval bigz die for the Big Shot. I love how the lights shine behind the ornament. Look at that glitter!
The snowflake punch was punched out of the Big Shot multipurpose adhesive sheets and put on the window sheet. Then we covered it with glitter and added a rhinestone. Love it!

Santa Pillow
Happy Black Friday!
I hope all of you who celebrated Thanksgiving had a happy one. Today is Black Friday! I don't even go close to the stores today. Do you? Are any of you the die hard Black Friday shoppers? I stay home where it is safe and warm. I might do some internet shopping. That is my favorite type of shopping.
The boys and I are going to put up our Christmas tree and decorations while listening to Christmas music. Oh, so much fun! I love this time of year.
This is the last project I made at Kim's house this month. Isn't Santa a cutie? It is a pillow box for a special treat. Love it!

Fang-tastic
She is the cutest witch! This is another project from the inspiration boards at the Regional Meeting I attended in Des Moines. This image is from the stamp set, Fang-tastic in the holiday mini. I love the new waffle paper the used on the right side of the image. I have some of that wonderful paper and haven't used it yet. Now, it is on my to do list to add it to one of my next projects I create.
Here is the Fang-tastic set. If you don't have this one, you might want to order it soon. It is such a cute one!

Monster Bag
Last Saturday, I went to the Stampin' Up! Regional meeting in Des Moines. Had a lot of fun and got to take some pictures of great projects posted on the display boards. Since I am not creating this week due to hanging out with my hubby and visiting friends, I wanted to share a couple of cute Halloween projects from boards. Todays, treat bag looks easy to make and great for those Halloween gifts and treats.
Remember, I did't make this. It was on display at our meeting. I think one of the great corporate creators came up with this treat bag. Love it!
I wanted to keep you inspired on those last minute Halloween projects you might be making.
Milk Good for Bones
Hello! Today, I wanted to show you the FABULOUS skeleton my Father-in-law made for us out of recycled gallon milk containers. Isn't it the coolest? This is a great way to make a Halloween decoration with those milk cartons you use. Jeanne, I can see you trying this one!
Halloween Bag
Susanna at Paper Craft Planet pointed out the great 3D project Julia Moss created to host this week's 3D challenge. I checked it out and LOVE IT! I decided to play along. I am still creating gifts for teacher's, so this worked perfectly. I just need to figure out who gets this one.
The same image is on both sides. I didn't do any stamping. I used the Nite Owl Designer Series Paper from the holiday mini for the toil & trouble image. Two of the pieces of designer paper have great labels and wording. This paper pack is awesome for your Halloween projects. The pattern for the bag is from the same Nite Owl series. I punched the bats out and added them to the image.
Here is a sneak peek of the Nite Owl DSP:
Julia has a tutorial link at the 3D challenge to show you how to join us for this challenge. Come join us!
Happy Halloween Box #2
I made this little treat carrier with the Big Shot and Box #2 die. I love making Halloween projects with all the fun embellishments and paper. The colors are awesome!
Spider Candy Wrapper
This is the final project we will be making at the Halloween workshop on Sunday, October 19th. Don't ya just love the candy wrapper design? It is the new Big Shot die by Stampin' Up! in the holiday mini catalog on page 10.
The cardstock was embossed with the new spider web textured impressing embossing folder and then swiped with white craft ink. You can't see the shimmer (bummer); however I spritzed it with silver foil smooch. I love that word "smooch". I made this cute wrapper at my friend, Kim's house last week. Love it!

3D Tuesday - Mummy Can
I am on double duty this week at Paper Craft Planet. I am hosting the 3D Tuesday Challenge. Check it out!
I have been thinking of classes for the fall and gifts for the teachers. I saw this cute can idea in the 2010-2011 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog. My 3D challenge for this week is to decorate a can for a gift. A Halloween theme is even better, since I LOVE Halloween. You can put candy, embellishments, markers, anything you can think of in a decorated can and it makes a great gift. I made bean dip for my family and used the refried bean can, so we all got something from this project...hee hee! Tag your photo 3d76, when you upload it to your gallery. Thanks for playing along this week!
