I have a lot of Christmas cards for you this week, because I finally am caught up on all of the challenges from the blog Christmas Stampin' All Year Long. YAY! When my club members were working on their two page layouts and other projects on Saturday night, I focused on my Christmas cards.
The first challenge I took was Vicki's Challenge #24 - The Stampless Challenge. We could not stamp on our card at all. Many times I turn to my Cuttlebug embossing folders for this type of challenge. The Lace Tree folder is perfect for this. I inked the tree in Olive and the trunk in Cocoa. Then I added bling! Now, I had to figure out how to get my sentiment on my card without stamps. I rumaged through my goodies and came across this "JOY" sentiment attached to ribbon. Perfect! Finally I layered my image on olive cs, gold vellum and cranberry cs. The pattern paper is from the Basics Evensong Collection by CTMH.
Have a great day!
Happy Stamping!

Now THAT'S the kind of Christmas card making I like. This turned out beautifully. I have this folder and have never used it...thanks for the inspiration.
Wow - what a beautiful card. Love that embossing folder, and what a great idea for a way to use it.
Oh Kim! This is beautiful! So clean and classy. I don't have this folder, but I think now would be a good time to add it to my collection! LOVE the whole no stamp idea...you've done an awesome job with the challenge.

SWEET card, Kim! I might have to CASE this to display with the Christmas Cuttlebug stuff at the store!
Beautiful Card!! So do I have this right, you inked the embossing folder and this is the result? If so I need to give that a try. TFS.
Kathleen,
I embossed the lace tree on white cardstock and used my ink daubers to ink the tree.
HTH!
Happy Stamping!
