I am hosting our sketch challenge this week at Paper Craft Planet. I tried to keep it simple, because I know how busy everyone is these days. I choose the card I posted earlier and added another one using the same stamp set, Very Punny by Stampin' Up. I hope you can play along with me! Please tag your project sk030610, so I can pull it into the album.
Sketch Challenge - March 6, 2010 (sk030610)
I am so glad it is Saturday. I was really busy this week with teacher and staff appreciation at my son's school. Whew! Thanks to all the teachers and staff that work at schools to educate our children! Keep up the good work! We appreciate you.

Easter Class
These are the next projects we will be making at my Easter class in March. Oh, I had so much fun making these.
I got the milk carton idea from my friend Kim, when I stamped at her house. I got the basket idea from a independent store here in town. I created a Valentine one here. The last one...oh so cute is from Tammy at Dream, Create and Share. She is one talented lady!

Oh MY! Aren't these the cutest? The basket could be used for Mother's Day too.
Have fun creating!
ENJOY
This is the last card for my March card class. I like this stamp set, Enjoy Every Moment by Stampin' Up, because you can change the "o" for flowers, etc. I love the sentiment...Enjoy Every Moment. Life is so short. It reminds me that life can change in a moment just like it did for my friend Heather.
A quick update on my friend Heather's son, Owen (3). In December, I told you Owen was diagnosed with a rare kind of leukemia and he needed a bone marrow transplant. Prayers were answered! He got one in late December and he is doing well right now. They are still up at the Ronald McDonald house in Minneapolis. He gets to come home if everything is going well on the 100th day after his transplant. They are a little over half way there. Thanks for all of you who prayed from him and their family. God Bless You!

Sparkle Christmas Challenge #13
Sparkle is busy at the Olympics, but still had time to give us a challenge this week to keep us on task. Our challenge is to make whatever type of Christmas card we want. YAY!
I decided to include this Christmas card in my March card class. Everyone always says they wish they would start their Christmas cards sooner, so I am giving them a push this month. This is one of my favorite stamp sets by Stampin' Up!, Lovely As A Tree.

I am still trying to use what I have before I buy a bunch of new paper and stamp sets. Oh, I have purchased some sets, but not as many I would like. I think I purchased my first paper pack this month, since before August. I have soooo much paper and so little time...ha ha!
I love this retired stamp set, Best of Cluck by SU. This is the third card we will be making at our March card class. I used retired paper. Love it!
I have been working on teacher appreciation week that is next week. I will have the goodies for their mailboxes to show you soon. I didn't make them due to time constraints, but I like what I found in the short time I had to shop.

Happy Easter
Every year I make Easter cards and then I don't send them. Not this year! I make a pledge to send my Easter cards this year. I will not make cards for the holidays and not give them to my friends and family. Do you see the hand over my heart?...hee hee!
I made this card with an image from DZ Doodles. When we color Easter Eggs, I always want to make them as bright as possible. I don't know why, but the brighter the better for me. Oh, before I forget...I am stepping down from my DT responsibilities at DZ Doodles in order to pursue other interests in stamping.
Here is my last card as a DT member:

I don't remember what Copics I used, because I took a bunch to my parents the last visit and didn't keep track when I was coloring while visiting. Sorry, I will make sure I keep track next time.
Have fun creating,
Best Fishes
This is a card that will be in my next card class for March. I just love the stamp sets that use puns. If you click the picture, you will be able to see the image better. It reads "Best fishes". So cute!

Happy Birthday, Big Boy
Today, February 22nd is my son, Tate's birthday. Happy Birthday, Big Boy! I can't believe you are nine years old already. Wow! I remember the day we brought you home. I thought and still think you are PERFECT!
Have fun creating,
I haven't made a maculine card for so long it took me a while to get in the groove. I think he will like it. My DH thought is was cool. He liked the metal arrow I used by Tim Holtz. The paper is from CTMH called It's A Guy Thing Level 2. I used a chipboard number and covered it with matching pattern paper from the pack. The only products that are not CTMH are the Cuttlebug embossing folder and the Tim Holtz arrow.
Happy Birthday, Tate!
We Love You!
