I really look forward to the card sketch challenges on Splitcoaststampers now. It is one of the first sites I look at on Wednesday morning. That way, I can think of what I want to create while dropping the boys off to school, making lunch, and housework. By the time I sit down to create, the card just comes together.
My mom made a comment to me that she really liked the fall card I made about a week ago. She loves fall colors, so I thought I would make another one for her to see. I used my new stamp set Nature's Vein and the paper pack Abundance. The colors I used are autumn terracotta, new england ivy, cocoa, goldrush and colonial white. The thankful sentiment is from the solo "t" stamp set.
Here is the sketch for today:
I won't be blogging until Tuesday, because I am going to my parents. They live in the country and have dial up internet. Talk about snail mail. I will post again for Technique Tuesday. Have a great weekend!
Take time to create!

Another great card, it is so well made. How did you put the white on the leaf?
I love fall colors too! It is one of the reasons why it is my favorite season. Cool card! The leaf looks glossy in the photo. Is there something on it?
Thanks for your comments, Jo and Wendy! The white on the leaf is just the way the stamp is. It has raised sections, so the paper color shows through.
Wendy, I didn't stamp the leaf on glossy paper. I used regular colonial white cardstock. It must be the picture and flash.
Happy Stamping!
I am going to miss all your post while you are gone.
