Happy Graduation, Jacob!

My nephew, Jacob, is graduating from high school today.  Boy, I can remember when he was born.  Time sure flies!  This is the card I made for him.  I purchased the graduate boy image from The Greeting Farm.  This is one of the first digital stamps I have purchased to color in and it was easy.  I printed from my  Canon printer on Gina K 120 lb. luxury white paper.  I used my copics to color him and I didn't see any smearing.  In addition, it is the first time I used the Gina K paper.  It is really nice and thick.  Love it!

I wanted to add a hip statement to Jacob's card, so I stamped "Dude u ROCK".  The stamps sets for the sentiment are Dude (retired), Dino Roar and solo u.  Those are all from CTMH.

I used my nestabilities label two set and my cuttlebug embossing folder.  Oh, I love my toys!

Happy Stamping!

EXCELLENT work my friend. This card ROCKS! Yay to you for trying the digital images. They are so fun and the gratification is instant in downloading right after you purchase. Gotta love that.

I've read that you can also heat set the images with your heat gun to help keep the ink from smearing as well (just in case you encounter any in the future).

This card is great! Thanks for sharing. Oh and congrats to your nephew for his great achievement!

AWESOME card, Kim. You did an amazing job coloring this little guy! Those digi-images are great! I will be working on some of these graduates tomorrow at my card club. I love the sentiment, too. TFS!

Yay for Jacob. Can you believe this card looks better in person? Hard to believe since it looks so great on the blog.
