Sweet Life

I played along with the sketch challenge this week on Splitcoaststampers. Here is this week's sketch:

Here is my card:

Recipe: card 4 1/4 x 5 1/2

Cardstock: twilight, cocoa, desert sand

Paper: Simple Pleasures Level 2

Embellishments: D'Vine Swirl Cuttlebug embossing folder, American Crafts ribbon, metal button (unknown), chocolate distressing ink (CTMH), Simple Pleasures My Stickease (CTMH), pop-up squares

My awesome friend, Jeanne, found the link to the directions I used for the gift cards I posted earlier this week. Thanks, Jeanne! Here it is:

Roxy does a fabulous job explaining how to make these cute gift cards. Visit her site to see.

I am off to my sister's Friday morning for a weekend of stamping. YAY! Life is good!

Have a great weekend!

This card is gorgeous! I love how you used the Simple Pleasures stickease, how you embossed then inked the swirls. The pop dotting gives wonderful dimension. That ribbon is a perfection companion and those buttons are fabulous.

This is one that would have to go on my list of FAVORITE cards and I love it!!! Excellent work!
